The Committee for Water Safety & Awareness was operated by volunteers
in the fiscal year 2006, working out of donated space and going into children’s
organizations with valuable life saving information on water safety &
awareness. Our Expenses in 2006 were minimal.
In 2007 CWSA acquired a loan to purchase a presentation system for
$2,617.48 to use giving water safety & awareness presentations to
organizations in our community with a focus on children. The Committee for
Water Safety & Awareness hopes to raise the funds to pay for children to take
swimming lessons and would also like to pay for children to swim in public
supervised swimming areas hoping to keep them out of dangerous waterways
in the heat of summer. CWSA is still run entirely by volunteers.
A full Financial Statement of 2007 will be posted by May of 2008.
